First ‘Before & After’

I usually take pictures of myself when I’m looking decent, so any of my "before" pictures are not going to be that horrible.

These 3 pictures showed all the same outdoor lighting, that I’m done up a bit in both, and how my skin changed in a year - an honest comparison with no exaggeration for dramatic effects. Look at the eyes!

The 2 pictures on the left were from the same shot in Oct 2018 (did my hair + a little style for the grocery store). I was still practicing conventional skin care in 2018 - cleanse with makeup remover, wash with some gentle liquid cleanser, then different skin serum, lotion, or cream, depending on what my skin needs.

In the Oct 2018 picture I was fully made up, as natural as possible, with eye cream, moisturizers, high coverage foundation, lipstick, blush, eye make up etc. I think the picture looked fine (otherwise I wouldn’t have kept it). But look at my eyes! Puffy, lines, dark circles, and the white is dull and reddish.

Some things you just can’t hide with make up.

The picture to the right was taken in Mar 2020, a year after I started Skin Sobering. I had a light layer of mineral powder, mascara, and colored lip balm. That’s it. Both pictures had no touch up or effects, and same outdoor light. The only difference was Skin Sobering and less makeup on right.

I saved quite a bit a money, and don’t spent much time to remove or put on my face anymore.
